The Design and show flow was set within a forced perspective Cathedral surround.  At the BCPA, the show from the mid-stage drape down needs to be able to strike within an hour always creating layout challenges.  The decision early on was made to have the cinematic show flow with wagons, flys, slider panels and an upstage bridge making full use of the proscenium stage.  This left open a vast floor footprint for the larger dance sequences as needed, but then could iris into the more intimate scene work.

" Set against a backdrop of stained glass window panels, Sean McClelland creates a scenic design that effectively takes the audience through the almost cinematic transitions of story beats with minimal disruption. Utilizing projection design behind many impressive, practical sets the show creates fully fleshed out scenes and environments that truly elevate this production. "   -Jon Manarang
